Rio's Story
After fostering a Collie for a short time, it became obvious to us that having a busy active Collie about was fun and rewarding. We fell for the gentle and kind nature of the breed and that was it really. So we started to look for a rescue Collie, but thought we were looking for a Female... until I was told about Rio.
Rio was born and bred at a stable where he spent his life, until he was purchased to be a working sheep dog. However, Rio was to scared to be a working dog and was given to Many Tears to find a new home.
Rio joined our family on the 16th Aug 2009. He is a wonderful kind gentle soul.
